In Estonian HERE

The international forest conference took place at Tallinn University (Estonia) and online on 1 February 2023. Discussions included the values of old forests; forest biomes and how to preserve them; climate change and how to mitigate it; and the relationship between people and forests. We introduced the results of new research and discussed ways that forests can cope with the changes they are undergoing.

Conference speakers were from Estonia, Latvia, Finland, and Sweden and included the Estonian Minister of Environment, scientists, experts, representatives of environmental NGOs, forest managers who practice continuous cover forestry, and artists.

The conference is organized by
Estonian Fund for Nature
 and supported by Ülemiste Centre.
