We are happy to invite you to an international forest conference taking place at Tallinn University (Estonia) and online on 1 February 2023. Discussions will include the values of old forests; forest biomes and how to preserve them; climate change and how to mitigate it; and the relationship between people and forests. We will be introducing the results of new research and discussing ways that forests can cope with the changes they are undergoing.

Conference speakers will come from Estonia, Latvia, Finland, and Sweden and include the Estonian Minister of Environment, scientists, experts, representatives of environmental NGOs, forest managers who practice continuous cover forestry, and artists. Estonian presentations will be translated into English.

The conference is organized by
Estonian Fund for Nature
 and supported by Ülemiste Centre.
